SHOKI RAMEN

I consider myself to be quite the critic when it comes to food.  I don’t think I’m all that picky but in the end if you are going to make something for people to enjoy you better do it right and do it with joy.  Shoki Ramen House is among my favorite little spots to eat in Sacto.  Thanks to my buddy Eric I wouldn’t know about this place if it wasn’t for him especially when it comes to ramen.  I’m not a fan of the packaged stuff and I’m always in search of small hole in the wall mom and pop shops.  Mom & Pop shop restaurants are where its at because its in these places you enjoy the authenticity of a home cook meal whatever cuisine you are dining for.  To me there is nothing quite like enjoying a great bowl of freshly prepared ramen.  Ramen like photography I believe is an art form both having color, flavor, texture and uniqueness.  You see ramen is only as good as the broth, thats where the magic is found.  Same goes for photography, photography is only as good as the beholder.  Everything else is ordinary.

Sorry, I can’t say Pinkberry is like photography but I enjoy photographing it.  =)  I think one of my favorite things about Pinkberry is the dining in experience.  If you’re like me and have an appreciation for decor Pinkberry will bring your yogurt experience to their level =) Enjoy!

SUNDAY JOYS

Every now and then life can take you hold of you and sometimes we forget to enjoy the little simple joys that life has to offer.  Pinkberry being one of those little joyous treats for anyone looking for a delectable, cool and healthy treat =) One of my favorite things about Pinkberry is they incorporate interior design into their yogurt experience that other yogurt places simply can’t match up to. Truly a unique experience in its own way.   I also happen to think Pinkberry has a good secret ingredient to keep their yogurts tarty but not overly.  With that said Pinkberry is definitely a favorite among a growing trend to eat healthier but who can turn down a good strawberry milkshake once in a blue moon.  But if your looking to treat yourself more often, Pinkberry is your guilt free option to you health conscious folks like me =) Yogurt isn’t the only thing that makes me smile.  I actually happen to enjoy random visits to craft shows, yes craft shows.  Granted I don’t know how to many many things with my bare hands its always interesting to see what people come up with creatively.  Its pretty cool and for me it always bring back memories to my childhood when my mother used to be a floral arrangement craft maker.  All the shows, preparations and setup was something I always remember growing up.  Pretty fun stuff especially if you’re a kid but even now I find myself still enjoying these small pleasure of life.

And of course my wonderful parents, aren’t they lovely?
