YACHEN + SUNG | TEASER

Hi Folks, I’ve been reading the book of Proverbs lately and there is so much richness in these words.  Wisdom > Knowledge.  Here’s a little something about how I read Proverbs.  Just a little FYI for ya and perhaps you would want to try it too.  Anyways, as a young boy my father always versed me in the Word of God.  As a man I still look to my faith for wisdom not because my father lived a life of faith but because I believe it to be the only way to truly live and experience God himself.  While growing up my father used to tell me to read the book of Proverbs over and over because its easy to forget what it says.  He always told me every time hes read a chapter from that book he always took something knew from it.  Interestingly, there are 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs.  The number of days in a month, well for the most part. My father used to tell me to begin reading each chapter on whatever the day of the month was and I did. I went for a walk tonight to think about my life, my faith and where God is leading me.  Some day’s I feel alone not because I have no one but because I want to see God’s face.  I often think to myself what He actually thinks of me?  What would He say to me?  I write to myself today and think would He be pleased?  I don’t have an answer for that but I know what my heart says.  It says keep on fighting the good fight and never give up, never lose hope, never forget that life is a gift.  Life is beyond who I am and what my two eyes will ever see.  As a man while I may struggled, fail or succeed I know in my heart life means nothing without God and my purpose for living.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.  For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you.  If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, And if you scoff, you will bear it alone.” – Proverbs 9:10-12
