June has been one crazy month and that is a understatement. My lovely and I have been busy with wedding photography all while planning our own wedding. We’ve been traveling so much this year and its been nothing short of amazing. Our adventures kicked off at the beginning of June and its been non-stop work, fun, good eats, family & friends. Photos have flooded our hard drives from weddings, portraits and loads of personal adventures =)

Remember the fun little photo shoot with cows, guitars and David? David brought to my attention that Taylor Guitar’s was holding a photo contest this past May and so we entered and low and behold we were one of the top 5 finalist in the photo competition. Special thanks to Bob Taylor of “Taylor Guitar” for holla-ing at our photo. Thank you for the opportunity =)

Wow! What an honor it is to be nominated for Best Photographer Contest 2010 by KCRA A-List. I was speechless when I received an email from KCRA’s A-List contest for the local Sacramento Region. I am more than thrilled but and would appreciate your vote if you appreciate the work I do =) Your support and faith in what I absolutely love to do is beyond my words of thankfulness I can express. I had the privilege of photographing Allyson and her awesome friend Brynne for their senior portraits. My family has been long time friends with Allyson’s family and have been loyal customers of my parents family owned business. Allyson has also been one of our fantastic customer service representatives and our family love her to pieces. Her and Brynne are nothing shy of absolute beauty and on top of that they got the brains to go with it. Super smart Allyson will be attending UCLA this fall and brilliant and might I add very athletic Brynne will be attending The University Of Oregon on her full ride scholarship through Soccer. I couldn’t be more excited for them aside from the fact that I miss those college days but hey, we all move on to bigger and better things right ? These ladies took the photo shoot by storm and we had a fantastic time and a special special thanks to Allyson’s mom for all the assistance =) If I didn’t know better she could probably be a art/on set director, shes good at that =) Thank you ladies for a marvelous shoot and I wish all the best on your future endeavors. May they be full of great memories, success and inspiration for a bright future.

Maxine + David are two of the dearest people in my life. I am truly blessed to have such amazing, fun and caring people like them to walk through life with. Just over a year ago Maxine + David vowed to spend the rest of their lives together and when you see the both of them together you know how much they love and care about each other. Maxine is one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet with a heart for family, youth and of course fantastic baking =) She makes some spectacular peanut butter brittle and other baked goods. I know David can’t get enough of Maxine’s goodness =) While David spends most of his time enjoying the sweetest things in life such as Maxine’s home cooking and baked goods he is an amazing Art Director/Web & Graphic Designer. David along with his team run a successful web development team called 26AM and yes they run 26/7 around the clock for you and your needs =D David is also a funny dude and it takes a special person like Maxine to get his humor =) Thanks for blessing my life. Looking forward to more amazing memories together especially with my special Sou-Wah =)
